Langley and Central Vancouver Island Ale Trails Invite Craft Beer Lovers on an Unforgettable Tasting Adventure from February 1 to March 9, 2025

North Vancouver, B.C. - Get ready to raise a pint and discover some of British Columbia’s best craft beer destinations. The BC Ale Trail is launching two exciting Tasting Passport campaigns, giving beer lovers and adventurers the chance to explore local breweries, collect stamps, and win incredible getaways while supporting local craft beer businesses.
Running from February 1 to March 9, 2025, the Langley Ale Trail Tasting Passport and the Central Island Tasting Passport invite locals and visitors to experience bold brews, community spirit, and stunning regional landscapes.
Langley Ale Trail Tasting Passport:
Urban Charm Meets Craft Innovation

Located just outside of Vancouver, the Langley Ale Trail blends urban energy with rural charm, offering a diverse mix of breweries, a cidery, and a distillery. Participants can sip locally inspired beers and ciders, learn about historical influences on brewing, and experience the passion and creativity behind Langley’s craft scene.
Whether enjoying a barrel-aged spirit, a farmhouse ale, or a crisp orchard cider, the Langley Ale Tail invites beer lovers to discover Langley City, Langley Township, and the communities of Brookswood, Walnut Grove, and Fort Langley.

From Cowichan through Nanaimo and Parksville-Qualicum Beach to the Comox Valley, Central Vancouver Island is home to diverse craft breweries, breathtaking beaches, and spectacular outdoor adventures. This self-guided tasting experience lets visitors sip their way through nano-breweries crafting small batch beers, farm-to-tap destinations set between fields of barley and sea, and heritage-inspired breweries reflecting the region’s history.
From a converted motorcycle shop brewery in Duncan to a beachside brew in Parksville, a farm-based experience in Nanoose Bay, a small batch local sip in historic Cumberland or on Hornby Island, and a brewery honouring the Royal Canadian AirForce in Comox, the Central Island offers a distinctive beer experience.

How to Participate

The Langley and Central Island Tasting Passports are free and available at any of the participating businesses listed below. Simply ask for a stamp with purchase (beer, food, swag, or non-alcoholic beverages), after collecting six unique stamps hand in the completed passport at any participating location to be entered to win one of the Grand Prize packages.
